Reaction on the article ‘Validation, an art in itself’ by Dr. L.M.C. van den Bosch

REFLECTIONGunst, Ellen - 45–4 (2007)

SUMMARY

The concept of validation is closely connected to the client-centered core conditions. The client-centered approach is more focused on helping the client in his search for meaning from his own experience. The concept of validation is especially helpful in explaining and teaching non-psychotherapists the necessity and manner of supporting the client in his growing process.
