With relevant literature and by using case material from my own practice, this article shows that person-centered experiential psy- chotherapy is valuable in meeting the therapeutic needs of gifted children and adolescents and the context in which they live. I offer an example on how experiential therapy can be done with this group of clients in relation to the theme of ‘connection and in- dividuality’.
I also argue for more expertise among psychotherapists on the specifics of gifted people and its effect on the therapeutic process and the connection with their environment.
