A client-centered approach to narcistic personality disorders

SUMMARY

This article demonstrates how important the client-centered approach is in helping clients suffering from narcissistic personality disorders. An open, sensitive mind on the part of the psychotherapist is necessary, focusing on the interactions in the therapeutic alliance. The thesis is illustrated with five cases from the daily practice.
