This essay is built on the theory and methods of the client centered approach. The primary goal is to develop this approach in such a way that it will enable us to understand deviant or disturbed experiential stages. I focus on the psychotic experiential world on the foundation of developmental psychology and developmental pathology, in conjunction with 35 years of experience in working with these patients. I will investigate if a therapeutic perspective is possible through the concept of empathy, the development of empathy, and the way we can transfer this to the client.
