Classified versus right of speech; a critical look at society from the perspective of client-centered psychotherapy

ARTICLEHanekamp, Henk - 43–4 (2005)

SUMMARY

Parafrasing the poem 'Ithaka' by Kavakis, I look back on the conference 'Short and good', by the VCgP on June 3, 2005. Whoever is complaining about our times full of evil spirits, could gain from an examination of his own spirit. When you have an eye for the right moment, its intrinsic values, and the ultimate goal, there is wealth to be found on this expedition.
Client-centered therapy knows consistent respect as a central value, and should continue to develop self-consciousness in order to survive. He who gives respect, integrity, responsiblity, and expertise a place as central values in his occupation, has right of speach.
