Between reverie and clock time; Non-directive short term therapy

ARTICLELibbrecht, Hilde - 41–4 (2003)

SUMMARY

The concept of short term therapy is too easily linked with behavioral or systemic therapy. Non-directive therapy has a long tradition in the search for shorter and more effective forms of therapy. The author takes the reader on a voyage into the evolution from Ferenczi to the latest client-centered developments; a voyage away from abstinence towards an increasing involvement.
